襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)成立于1997年，秉持“公平及時(shí)、方圓有致”的價(jià)值理念，主動(dòng)融入市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)，探索靈活多樣的仲裁服務(wù)形式，竭力為各類(lèi)市場(chǎng)主體營(yíng)造良好的法治化營(yíng)商秩序，已迅速成長(zhǎng)為漢江流域有廣泛聲譽(yù)的仲裁機(jī)構(gòu)。 

Xiangyang Arbitration Commission was established in 1997. Adhering to the value concept of “fair, timely and reasonable”, the commission actively integrates into the market economy, explores flexible and diverse forms of arbitration services and tries its best to create a good business order for various market entities. It has rapidly grown into an arbitration commission with a wide reputation in the Han River Basin.

2000年-2020年，襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)共受理仲裁案件6662件，案件標(biāo)的額共計(jì)人民幣167.01億元。2020年全年共處理案件237件，標(biāo)的額超過(guò)42.4億元。即使是疫情期間，案件審理仍繼續(xù)保持較高質(zhì)量，全年未有被人民法院裁定撤銷(xiāo)或不予執(zhí)行的案件。

From 2000 to 2020, Xiangyang Arbitration Commission accepted a total of 6,662 arbitration cases with a total target value of 16.701 billion yuan. In 2020, a total of 237 cases with a target value of more than 4.24 billion yuan were handled. Even during the COVID-19 epidemic, the trial of cases continued to maintain high quality. In the whole year, no case was adjudged cancellation or non-enforcement by people's court.

襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)的仲裁員聘請(qǐng)程序嚴(yán)格依照《中華人民共和國(guó)仲裁法》及《襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)章程》的有關(guān)規(guī)定進(jìn)行。根據(jù)規(guī)定，申請(qǐng)擔(dān)任襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)仲裁員大致應(yīng)符合以下條件：

1. 具有國(guó)際商事仲裁及訴訟、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易、國(guó)際投資、國(guó)際工程、知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)、海事海商等專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)和實(shí)際仲裁工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

2. 精通英語(yǔ)等至少一門(mén)外國(guó)語(yǔ)言；

3. 自愿遵守《襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)章程》、《襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)仲裁規(guī)則》、《襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)仲裁員行為準(zhǔn)則》等相關(guān)制度。

The procedures for the appointment of arbitrators of Xiangyang Arbitration Commission shall be strictly in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Arbitration Law and the Constitution of Xiangyang Arbitration Commission. According to the regulations, generally the applicant would have:

1. Had professional knowledge and practical arbitration experience in international commercial arbitration and litigation, international economy and trade, international investment, international engineering, intellectual property, maritime business, etc.

2. Had a complete mastery of at least one foreign language e.g. English; and

3. Voluntarily abode by the Constitution of Xiangyang Arbitration Commission, the Arbitration Regulations of Xiangyang Arbitration Commission, the Code of Conduct for Arbitrators of Xiangyang Arbitration Commission and other relevant regulations.

現(xiàn)今，襄陽(yáng)仲裁委員會(huì)聘任了302名仲裁員，均為各專(zhuān)業(yè)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的知名教授、資深律師、高級(jí)審計(jì)師、高級(jí)工程師、造價(jià)工程師、優(yōu)秀退休法官和在仲裁、經(jīng)濟(jì)管理等工作中經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富、公道正派的人士。仲裁員專(zhuān)業(yè)涉及民商法學(xué)、金融、建筑工程、房地產(chǎn)、知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)、涉外貿(mào)易等方面。成立了專(zhuān)家咨詢委員會(huì)，研究本委仲裁案件和仲裁程序中的重大、疑難、復(fù)雜問(wèn)題，為仲裁庭獨(dú)立、公正、高效作出裁決提供咨詢意見(jiàn)，保證案件仲裁質(zhì)量和時(shí)效。

At present, Xiangyang Arbitration Commission has appointed 302 arbitrators, all of whom are well-known professors, senior lawyers, senior auditors, senior engineers, cost engineers, excellent retired judges and fair and decent people with rich experience in arbitration and economic management. Arbitrators’ practices involve civil and commercial law, finance, construction engineering, real estate, intellectual property, foreign trade and other fields. Expert Advisory Committee has been established to study major, difficult and complex issues in arbitration cases and arbitration procedures of the Commission, providing advisory opinions for arbitral tribunals to make independent, impartial and efficient adjudication, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of arbitration cases.
